It's hard to find somewhere that meets all of everyone's needs. Our family requirements are such that we really do understand. We've designed, converted and adapted The Beach House to be as accessible as we could make it. Talk to us about your accessibility needs and we will do our utmost to meet them.

Adaptions include -

A wheelchair lift, ceiling track hoisting system between bedroom and wheelchair accessible bathroom (bring your own slings), open plan roll in shower, attendant shower heads at bath & shower, accessible basin, comfort height toilet, support hand rails, low wardrobe hanging rails, widened doors, step free entrance, ramped decks, pool hoist, ramped garage, step free access to pool area, dining table chosen for ease of wheelchair access, Rifton Blue Wave toileting chairs, portable hoist, a beach wheelchair (only available in pink & medium sized!). Lastly we have a wheelchair accessible vehicle on site that can be rented by separate arrangement.

The kitchen, living & dining areas are all in one room - completely open plan and therefore barrier free. The adapted bedroom has furniture spaced to make it easy to manoeuvre a wheelchair. For those who need it, the flat above the garage has been designed to be a self contained carers area giving privacy to the family holidaying together if desired.

In front of the house the beach has a wooden boardwalk through the dunes and is ramped at the end (a little steep but manageable). Fish Hoek beach (5 Km away) is also ramped. The fabulous Noordhoek farm village has accessible restaurants and a central disabled toilet. All in all, we hope to be able to give you a memory making holiday with all of the usual access difficulties removed. Not to mention the views are fantastic....
